Can Hospice Help?

You need good information to make decisions that are right for you.

Hospice is for people with a terminal illness. In general, it’s for people who have been evaluated by a doctor and have six months or less to live.

During that important time in a person’s life, we can help with pain relief, counseling, social services support, bereavement, access to therapies, and all of the planning.

Legal considerations such as advanced directives and making your wishes legal are important. We can help.

are you living with an illness?

Living with a serious illness can be overwhelming. It can impact every part of your life and wear on your family and friends.

At Hospice of VNA of Rhode Island, we help people facing the challenges of a serious illness. We can help with the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects starting at the time of diagnosis.

Your quality of life will define your care. Regular visits by an RN who has training in hospice will be part of the plan. Your peace of mind and your comfort are the primary goals of our Hospice team.
